This year's SharkCon is set to take place on July 18-19 at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall, proudly presented by National Geographic's SHARKFEST. This exciting event will showcase a multitude of vendors and exhibits, perfect for all you fellow FIN-atics.
While NC Shark Savers will not have a booth at the convention, our CEO and Founder, Jeremy Perdue, will be attending as a guest. Though Wanda the Great White Honda will not be in attendance with him, he will be wearing the first prototypes of NC Shark Saver merchandise to represent the organization, so feel free to approach him and strike up a conversation!
In addition to the exciting lineup of vendors and exhibits, SharkCon will also host a series of engaging educational workshops aimed at raising awareness about shark conservation. These workshops will feature expert speakers from marine biology and environmental science backgrounds, sharing insights on the vital role sharks play in our ecosystem and the challenges they face due to fishing and habitat loss. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussions, ask questions, and learn how they can contribute to shark conservation efforts in their own communities.
